(והוצאתי אתכם מתחת סבלות מצרים (ו:ו
And I will take you out from under the oppression of Egypt.
The first step towards the geula was for the Egyptian galus to become revolting to the Bnei Yisroel, and that they were no longer able to tolerate the Egyptian people. For as long as they were able to tolerate being in exile, the geula was unable to come.
This is the understanding of the pasuk: “And I will take you out from under the oppression (סבלות) of Egypt”- I will take you out from the tolerance (סבלנות) that you have for the Egyptians, and I will make the exile revolting to you, until you can’t bear it any longer.
